Jules A. Bouillet continues to capture the beauty and grace of waterfowl, birds, of prey and upland game at his Midwest studio in Vincennes, Indiana. For two decades, he has extended a long family tradition of fine woodworking and craftsmanship that can be traced back to the old-European world of Belgium.
A master of depicting life and movement in his original woodcarvings, his decorative duck decoys are collected worldwide. His works have earned him many Best of Shows and People's Choice awards at national wildlife art shows throughout his career. Bouillet's works have been exhibited annually in the prestigious Leigh Yawkey Woodson " Birds in Art" Exhibitions in Wausau, Wisconsin, the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland and many other nationally recognized wildlife art expositions.
His works and career have been documented on television shows and in several magazines including Wildlife Art News and The Saturday Evening Post. While many of his original works are held in private collections around the world, his individually handcrafted decorative duck decoys and wildlife figures are a source of enjoyment to all wildlife enthusiasts and admirers.
